- Holmes has a soft spot for the modern day John Watson. He knows what it’s like to be left (even if his situation is hardly as intense) and he sympathizes with him because of it.
- He might seem like he’s close to someone and getting comfortable with them, but to anyone outside of Watson, it’s rarely the case
- Sherlock has the manners of gentleman in the 19th century/Victorian Era.
